AGILITY

Agility is a teamwork sport involving a dog and a handler. The handler will run with dogs to complete a obstacles course within two to three minutes. The course is design by a judge with different levels of difficulty.

The first agility test was demonstrated at Crufts in 1978.

Agility in Malaysia started as a demonstration group in 1998 to 2000. Competitive agility began from 2006. In Malaysia dogs can compete for agility titles from the MKA(Malaysian Kennel Association). These agility titles are recognized by FCI and other countries.

RALLY OBEDIENCE (RALLY-O)

This is a fun canine sport that mixes classical obedience training and agility training.
It consists of moving your dog through a course (10-20 signs per course, varies per class level) with signs where he performs basic to advanced commands (i.e, sit, stay, come.), turns (90°, 180°, 270°, 360°), jumps, slaloms/spirals, and other exercises.
During practice, you learn that this sport is all about giving your dog the right motivation to perform the right command at the right time.
Any dog can practice Rally Obedience, the key to success is to train your dog properly to respond to all your commands and learning how to sync your pace with your dog’s.
Unlike other sports, speed is not as important, the real core of Rally-O is how well the dog and handler communicate.

DOG SHOW

A Dog Show is somewhat like a Beauty Contest.
The Judge compares the dog that he is judging with the perfect specimen according to his interpretation of the standard.
The dog's correct movements and good temperament allows the judge to give the challenge certificate(CC). In Malaysia, three CCs equal a Malaysian champion titiles(MAL CH).More CC and group awards can give other titles such as Malaysian Grand Champion, Southeast Asian champion, Asian champion, International Champion.

All awards won at Malaysian Kennel Association's Championship Shows are recognised worldwide.

TRICKS DOG

Do you and your dog love to be the life of the party by showing off his arsenal of tricks? Then he might be perfectly primed to earn MKA Trick Dog titles!

OBEDIENCE TRIALS

Developed in the 1930s, Obedience is one of the world’s oldest sporting events. From walking on- and off-leash to retrieving and jumping, or demonstrating your dog’s ability to stay, Obedience trials feature dogs that are well-behaved at home, in public places, and in the presence of other dogs. It is essential that the obedience dog demonstrates willingness and enjoyment while it is working with the handler.

DANCES WITH DOGS

Dancing with dog is relatively new in Malaysia. It is about creating a choreographic dance in which your pet and you dance to the rhythm of the song with perfectly timed dance moves and synchronized tricks.
